The Pimlico Million Community Chest – Small Grants

Each year The Pimlico Million offers a number of small grants to support grassroots projects created by local community groups and charities. The aim of these grants is to support projects that inspire groups to come together from different residential areas within the Pimlico Million with a particular focus on reducing isolation, connecting communities and groups from different backgrounds and positively enhancing lives of people who live in the area.

• Westminster Bangladeshi Association – a trip for families
• Octavia Foundation Dream arts/Base girls project
• Pimlico Music Foundation brought local primary schools together for a performance
• Iraqi Arts – art workshops
• Thamesbank Youth activities for young people in area
• Chelsea/Wellington – Gardening group
• Play association – young people’s activities in the local estates and a residential
• Pimlico Toy Library – family activities, providing 285 play spaces and local family fun days
• Working with men – photography project
• Westminster Boating Base activities alongside Working with men
• Peabody gardening group
• Peabody playgroup family coach trip – over 100 people going to Littlehampton
• Open Age coach trip
• ETAT elderly group exercise sessions with over 25 people attending
• Older Peoples group on Churchill Gardens
• Boxing club
• Gardening group on Ebury Bridge Estate
• St Andrews youth club
• SouthWestFest Children’s Parade
